Bonnie in Ok
what does everyone do to take wrinkles out of cotton bat?
Neher-in-law5
"use anything but cotton"! Sorry, it just popped into my head when I read your question since I prefer to use other than cotton batting. When I do, I haven't done anything special besides smoothing with my hand. (I pin quilts, since I don't have a frame machine.)
lkl
I put batting in the clothes dryer with a damp hand towel on the lowest heat setting for 15 minutes and then air (no heat) for 15 minutes. I use this method for various batting fibre content, including bamboo, cotton, poly, rayon and wool. Leslie
RitaR
Dryer and damp hand towels.. I use 2 or 3, then after about 5 min, I remove the towels and let the batting finish drying, about 10 min.
