Bonnie in Ok
I have this customer quilt and she wants a e2e but thought It might need a little custom. It is a very nice piecing. Just looking for ideas
RitaR
Something with curves, not so sure about a spiral.. think not.. just something without sharp points. Doubt I'd go curved cross hatch either.. hmmmm that's it for my brilliant ideas. LOL Rita A very pretty quilt.
LisaC
It is a very pretty quilt, I would hate to do an e2e on it; but the customer is paying and would you be spending custom time while she is paying for an e2e?
Bonnie in Ok
Well thought I could do a little custom at the e2e price she is worth it.
Neher-in-law5
Would it work time/price wise to do CC in most of the star and point squares with a swirl treatment in the trees. Then feathers or something in the borders, CC in the border squares? I don't know how much more time it would take for that.
Busy Quilting
It looks like a christmas quilt so break out the continuous holly sashing fill. Wonder which note pad my scribbled continuous Christmas tree is in. it is a ribbon candy getting smaller as you go to the top then put a star on the top and come back down in ribbon candy between the going up ones. In the block themselves CC's.
LibbyG
I would just do an E to E because it's all dark colors. My eyes don't see any spot to rest for custom. Pantos are really pretty and make quilts look lovely.

Bonnie in Ok
Yes you guys have convinced me to go with the continuous holy and berries panto and it will make the customer happy. Thanks for all the input!
chickenscratch
If she is only choosing e2e for the price factor, think about what you can do that is equally as quick but shows off that fabulous piecing. What about a little line dancing aroung the piecing and terry twists or ribbon candy in the sashings. You could pretty much go e2e with your stitching as still give her a custom look
