jmcclannan
My husband and I will be downsizing to a smaller house and I am thinking I need to sell my dear antique. It is an1892 New Home with all the attachments in a coffin cabinet that is in very good condition. If anyone is interested, message me your email and I will send pictures. I don't have any idea what it's really worth and it would need to be picked up here in the Omaha area since shipping would be difficult and expensive. RitaR
I'm drooling, but have to sell my 1938 New Home Treddle with the long bobbin, I'm told it is a "chatter" bobin. It even has the original receipt and manual and attachments.. Good luck in selling yours.. I think you could google "pre 1900 New Home Treadle sewing machines" and get an idea on pricing. A lot depends on the condition of the cabinet, and of course, if it still sews. Rita
Peggy (SewAsylum)
I love old machines but, sadly, have no room. I am lucky I have room for my "new" machines. But I sure would love to see pics of them.
RitaR
i just remember, you can google ISMAC sewing machine company and locate your make and model and year.. if you can find a serial number, that helps.. The last I checked them, they didn't post the approx. cost.. but there were people whom you could contact. Good luck, Rita
Heirloom Quilter
Julie, it sounds like you have a wonderful machine. Sadly, I already have two treadle machines and my DH wouldn't understand my need to have another. Lol I hope you find a local buyer. Good luck.
