Lin
I highly recommend that any beginner or intermediate quilter take Dawn Cavanaugh's classes offered by APQS at the Des Moines location. I learned so much and am ready to move forward in my long arm quilting journey. This is a great opportunity to receive hands on training - classes are small and are geared toward the participants. TinaLAQ
I am scheduled to attend her beginner and intermediate classes in August and then the 2 day maintenance class. I will be in Iowa for a week. I hope to get to Winterset to visit the Fons and Porter shop.
Laurie
I really wish we could have those classes here on the west coast. I would love to have more hands on training with an expert standing along side. I just missed the last open house that was held in Oakland...I was on my annual retreat. Oh well.......maybe the next one!
