I need some help compiling a "wish list" of things I would like for Christmas.

It is easier for me, if I write everything out, website, item and cost etc, and leave it in full view of my husband. That way he buys something I would like........  I'd prefer if they all came from the one place to save postage but that is never the case when buying from "over the pond".

I just need to remember not to look at the MasterCard statement and guess what I am getting!

If I give him lots of choices then maybe it will be a surprise.

So what is on your wishlist this year that I might have to add to my own.

I have

Lisa Calle's Mastering the Mini - Wholecloth DVD

Angela Walters  - Shape by Shape - book

Dovers - Arabic Geometrical Pattern and Design

very diverse list so far

what else would you recommend I put on my list?

Lyn, I don't know if it's any help over the pond, but Amazon Prime has the last two books on your list. Here in the states, if you have Amazon Prime, it's free shipping. The last two books can also be purchased and viewed on Kindle or an Ipad, too. I kinda like a book and color, but maybe the price is right?

Dover is an outstanding resource for design books. My favorites are art nouveau and geometrics.

A couple of books that I've used extensively are by Graham Leslie McCallum

4000 Flower and Plant Motifs and

Pattern Motifs--A Sourcebook

They are thick design books (almost 400 pages) that are full of drawn designs and inspiration.
