foxfireasa Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 Not sure what I'm doing wrong.. I have compu quilter and a millinium. I tested the edge to edge pattern without a needle to be sure the edge to edge pattern would fit the quilt top. I notice that the needle arm did not go up and down as if in sewing motion but didn't think anything about it. Once I got every thing set I put the needle back in and realize what was happening. The needle does go down to pull up the bobbin thread but then the machine takes off and repeats the pattern but there is no arm movement. What am I doing wrong?
BarbWetzel Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Hi.. make sure you are giving it some speed....Use your green button on the right hand to increase the speed of the compu quilter. That sounds like what might be the problem. Good luck.. Barb
smorris Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Hi fox fire Set the needle speed - about halfway Make sure the motor on off flick switch is on -on and run/stop on - on check that the plugs that go into both the motors are in securely - on left hand side of table and on the front of the carriage. There are other connections that could have come loose but these are the most common reasons for it not to stitch. If all the above are OK. Run your machine in handguided mode disconnecting the computer power plug from the wall socket to decide if its a CQ or machine problem. Sounds like CQ to me. Good luck sue in australia
TinaCollins Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 If your speed is turned up and you are experiencing this problem... then check to make sure you have NOT pulled the wires out of the jumper board under the right back handle. Give me call if you need any help.
