CaseClosed
I have a customer that has a king size quilt. She got a divorce and wants the quilt cut in 1/2 to make 2 quilts. This will require hand blind stitching on one side of each quilt. How would I charge for this hand stitching?
Allison S.
I'd charge .30 per linear inch. Hand sewing is time consuming, but looks so nice when completed.
caddyhomes
I charge .10/linear foot. The market in my area wouldn't tolerate anything higher.
Kueser
I recently raised my rate to 2 cents per inch after years of doing it for 1. I like to do it and it fills the time in the evening watching TV.
