Sami R
I just purchased a used APQS Ultimate II w/a 12ft wood table. The table is to long. My husband wants to try and cut it down to 10ft, but we would need new rollers. Does anyone know if it’s possible to find used 10 ft rods to purchase? RunningThreads
Occasionally they come up for sale but they are usually expensive to ship. Maybe a local welder or machinist can take off one end cut down the length and weld the end back on. Then you would need to make or buy new leaders. Should be pretty cost effective. jimerickson
Just a suggestion: Take all 3 rollers to the welder/fabricator at the same time. Have him cut off the end without the gear, and then re-weld the shaft caps after the rollers have been shortened. Tell him you want them to all be shortened exactly the same amount. After the rollers have been shortened then take to shortening the actual table top. With the rollers in hand it will be easier to get the top cut to the right length. No chance of measuring errors, or communications mistakes. Good luck. Jim sdrunge123@gmail.com

RunningThreads
Jim is probably the most knowledgeable person on the forum when it come to Ultimate II’s and their tables. When you get setup contact him through private message he has some ideas on improving the wooden table. Nigel
