When I was around 12, I thought it was incredibly cool to only have one shoulder carrying your backpack/messenger. By the time I was 17, I had recognized that one of my shoulders was significantly lower than the other due to trying to be "cool," and it took me a year to get used to wearing both bag straps. So, since then, I prefer to wear backpacks only from https://backpacks.global/compare/features/college-backpacks-with-laptop-compartment/. They're all stylish, with a cool steel grey and simple decoration that blends in with anything. So, although my bag of choice is 95 percent practical and functional, I save 5% for looking beautiful.
