You should also ask APQS for the cost of the table/frame only that would be compatible with this head. I haven't seen many APQS machine-head only listings either here or on longarm selling groups on Facebook. Just my opinion... It may be a harder sell as I would expect most buyers would need to purchase a frame. If it was a newer head, it might be an upgrade for someone. JennBinAK Posted December 4, 2021 Report Share Posted December 4, 2021 When we visited the new APQS facility in October, they said the frames come with each new machine now and are not sold separately, so it may be hard to find a buyer unless someone happens to already have a frame. khonas Posted December 31, 2021 Report Share Posted December 31, 2021 We purchased a 2005 Freedom without a frame for $3750 a few years ago. We tried a non-APQS frame and did not work very well. Fortunately, we found someone who was selling a 12" APQS frame w/bliss because they were changing to a 10" frame. The combination is working well for us. I'm sure it would not be easy to find a used APQS frame so may need to look at buying a new one from APQS. They are not inexpensive, I think around $5K.
