I too purchased the zero centered ruler but am somewhat confused now since reading this post. I thought they were used to keep your quilt square as you work on it. My question is: If you sew them to the leaders, doesn't it get rolled up with the quilt and how does that help? sorry for the dumb question, but I am very new to this.
