alnaquilts
I like the idea of the vertical cone holder accessory, but am wondering how it attaches to the top of the machine? Why would you need 3 spools? Anyone have any ideas on how to make it yourself? Thanks for any input, I have a Millie.
Cagey
It attaches to the top of the machine with heavy-duty double stick tape. The easiest way would be to purchase a Dritz Cone Thread Holder, Heavy Duty at Joann's. You can always find a discount coupon. Then cut the thread rod to a shorter length, and stick it to the top of you machine using double stick tape. You may need to put something on the bottom of the cone holder if it is not flat. Cardboard or part of one of those plastic yard signs cut to size would work fine. Best of luck with your MacGyver project. SueD
I think the idea for having multiple spools is when you are using multiple thread colors on a quilt. You can keep the spools on the holder. alnaquilts
