Deann
I am working on a sampler quilt and all the blocks are stars or at least straight lines, except one. It's a Drunkard's path. I'm SID on most of the straight lines and doing some quarter circles, daisy leaves, etc. But what can I do in the Drunkard Path??? There is so much open area...Help would be appreciated!! Mary Beth
I don\'t have any suggestions for stitches, but I would suggest that you go to google images and type in drunkards path quilt and do the same at webshots.com - you will find all kinds of pictures - great examples. chickenscratch
How about a drunken path? A winding meander. It would fill it up. Not too fancy, but effective.
Judi
Ah - Teresa has the idea! Take a good stiff drink (or 2 or 3....) and then see what kind of a meander you get! Just kinding! Like they say - "Don\'t drink and Drive" probably a good idea to NOT to "Drink and Quilt".... might get your finger in the wrong place at the wrong time! Good luck and please post photos when you get done!
