qualityquilter
Michaelalan - several weeks ago I remember reading a post from you about a ruler that you had found at Michael\'s. I\'ve been looking this weekend, but haven\'t had luck tracking it down. Sorry to make you repeat, but could you please provide the info for me again - name of ruler, etc. Thanks. Laurie
I found that ruler at my Michaels.......bought it...... and it doesn\'t fit my hopping foot. My foot is larger than the opening in the ruler. Wasted $$ unless I can somehow make the opening larger.
michaelalan
The ruler fits the 1/2 inch foot for the UII and some other models, it doesn\'t fit all machines feet, the acrylic is thicker than standard rulers.... save your receipts if it doesn\'t fit your foot...:cool: http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=9850&page=1#pid87677 here is the original post:cool::cool::cool:
Sheri Butler
Laurie, what year is your millie? I wonder if you have the older model. Isn\'t the foot a bit larger on the older ones? Or, am I all wet?!?
Laurie
Mine is only 1 year old! I bought it in Jan 2007......
Jeanette
Use your dremel to enlarge the area where the foot goes. You\'ll need a fairly rough burr or use a cutting bit in the dremel. Doesn\'t take but a minute to enlarge it.
qualityquilter
Thanks so much for the info, Michaelalan. You\'re very thorough - even a picture of the packaging! It\'s a great help! Becky
