Hallre
hey! I learned that lesson the other night as well. all I wanted to do was balance the checkbook in peace. My husband thought he could grill dinner, bake cookies, watch our son in the high chair and WATCH FOOTBALL. somehow he caught the crock pot on fire. I put the crock pot on the cook top because it supposedly gets too hot for my countertops. anyway, we think instead of turning the oven off when he took out the cookies he turned the burner ON. the rubber feet on the crock melted and caught fire. he also caught the grill on fire...what a night! Just Sew Simple
My hubby is a really good cook. He even cleans up after himself. He has started complaining a bit about the state of the house since Lenni came to live with us. I need a maid but who can afford such a thing (person). He will just have to live with the crud until I get done quilting.;)
