peglu
While snipping the basting tacks on the quilt I just finished, I snipped a small hole in the quilt top. Not in an area that I can hide any mending. It is hand quilted aplique. Has anyone ever used fray check to mend a small hole? I am certain that this hole will get bigger if not mended. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Peggy

peglu
Thanks Bonnie, I just ordered it to try. Hope it works. A small price to pay to save a quilt. My stomach is already less queasy. Thanks a bunch. Peggy
Gator
The BONASH product is great. If you have a pice of the fabric or something really simular, the hole will never be seen. Don't forget to get the teflon sheet that goes with the powder. The canister of powder will last a long, long time. Bought mine at my first quilt show and it still hasn't run out. hollyc
fray check can leave a ring and is noticeable on some fabrics or color, try what the others are suggesting. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.
