lizziesgirl Posted July 31, 2008 Report Share Posted July 31, 2008 How come you get on this wonderful roll and the quilts just lay so sweetly and you just love to quilt them and they go so smoothly, then WHAM! you get the quilt with mountains. Forget sweet, waving borders or cute little D cups, no you get mountains..... I'm doing a Kalidascope and oh the joys of tucking. I keep walking away from it hoping it would dissappear off the machine but its still there... Thanks for letting me vent. Back to quilting. I think we get those naughty quilt tops just to remind us that nothings is perfect all the time or easy all the time and it brings us back to reality. Hope your day gets better........ quiltmonkey Posted July 31, 2008 Report Share Posted July 31, 2008 Bummer.Sorry you are going through this "bumpy" ride. Can you stuff some of those mountains with extra pieces of batting? This has been done successfully by others and it does help eliminate pleats or tucks. I hope you tell (or told) the customer so she can learn by her mistakes. Hang in there, Sheryl.
