SandraC
I'm using Madiera Monolon for the first time today to background filling around some applique blocks. I heard about it a class I took recently (thanks, Karen!). It is so very fine I can hardly see it. I think I am going to adore this thread...it's sinking right into the fabric and doesn't give off a sheen. BTW, also using Deloa's AppliGuide for the first time, and I must say that it's helping me do the best outlining of applique I've ever done. (I was pretty bad at it before!) Laurie
I bought a cone of the monolon after taking a class with Karen.....heven't used it yet but the quilt I'm putting on now has some applique in the borders so I will use it then. I have seen all the rage about DeLoa's guide but don't have it.....yet!
