Sue White
I have a very old Ulitmate II and the plastic has yellowed and is very brittle. I need to replace it. Has anyone done this? Does anyone have a suggestion on where to get it? I would have thought Staples or a hardware store would carry something I could use but I can't find anything. Oma
APQS sells replacement plastic and there is one with ruler marks on it. I have it and I really like it, but it's sort of spendy. Very easy to replace.http://shop.apqs.com/Pattern-or-Pantograph-Cover_p_229.htmlhttp://www.coloradoquiltingcompany.com/documents/The%20PatternGrid.htm
mamu
Just remove the old plastic covering and make sure you get all of the sticky parts off. I decided to purchase the gridded plastic and am glad that I did as I use the grids alot for placements and to write on with dry erase markers. When you apply this you will need to help the memory of the plastic to relax, then just use blue painters tape and tape down the top long side. You are done and ready to start quilting! KarenSueMLT
Try a craft or fabric store like Joann's, Hobby Lobby, etc. It's back in the home dec. area with picnic table cloth fabric, usually on rolls. KarenSue

Zora
Try Walmart, but the plastic they sell will stain with continual use of markers on it.
