Lauras
I'm not a SBS fan either, but you could almost change my mind. Beautiful quilting! Are the feathers freehand or following a pattern? Love them. Laura
meg_marsh
I have never been a lover of the SBS quilts - but yours is the first that I have seen that could change my mind. The top is arranged wonderfully and your quilting is outstanding. Simple and effective. I love it. You did such a wonderful job. Thank you for sharing!!! Boni
Judy, thanks for sharing with us. The sunflowers look like they might be machine embroidery. Are they? How much of the SBSs are applique and machine embroidery? It's adorable.
ETownsend
Judy, The SBS quilt is absolutely adorable! The feathers are so perfect for the quilt. I love the flowers as well. How did you do them?

Marlette
Judy...I love SBS and this one is truly exceptional!! My nephew's paternal great grandmother made a SBS quilt for him before he was born. Even though he was/is "all boy" he loved that little quilt! He's 49 today and still has that quilt. He never knew his father or grandparents since my sis and BiL were divorced when my nephew was 15 mos old. It's so nice that the one thing he has from that family is a little quilt from a DGG he never knew. We just never know the love that a quilt holds do we? Hope the love shines from this little quilt...you've made it extra special for that special child.
dancingstitcher
Darling! The stitching you gave it really made it special. Love how the Sue figures pop up with a background of stippling. Vicki
