susanramey
A customer wants me to quilt this for her. Has anyone done one like this? What panto would look good on it? I can't do feathers or leaves freehand. I did a search on webshots, etc. and came up empty handed. Another name is Seattle Streets-similiar. I'll appreciate any inspiration! JoleneK
Have you seen Sue Patton's panto called Java? It looks great on batiks, I think it would look good on this quilt. http://www.goldenthreads.com/p-1495-java.aspx
lizziesgirl
Susan, I did one for a customer with shells and starfish and I have one to do for the shop that I will do a flower panto because it has flower fabrics. They are really neat quilts that just about anything looks very well.
yeoldeforest
A Deb's swirls or swirly design would look good - soften the blocks.
quiltmonkey
Break out that giant swirls template and go at it, baby!
peglu
I'm with Shana. Giant swirls would be great.

susanramey
Thanks so much for your ideas. I think swirls sounds good to me. I am also leaning toward Double Plume by Keryn Emmerson. It looks great on batik with variegated threads. Susan
