BRRR....We are in a deep freeze

Recommended Posts

Shana, your cabin is lovely. Jason said "looks like great hunting".

It's 8 degrees at 5:00 tonite. Jason and I were out hunting, got there around 4:30 and sat until 5:45. After we hiked 1/4 mile back to our car, got in, Jason started feeling ucky. He couldn't feel his fingers. The start of frost bite.

Dang it, now I asked him around 5:00 if he wanted to put on the thicker gloves over his, and he said "NO". Those stubborn men.

I had to pull over and start warming him up. He went into chills, awful pain in his hands, etc. After 15 min or so, he started feeling better. Thank goodness.

Monday nite we went hunting, and I took a shot at a 4x4 nice buck. I must have really been cold then, cuz i shut "under his belly". I couldn't believe it! That is the 1st time i've missed. Oh well, i'll keep looking for him the rest of this month. See if I can get him.

Stay warm everybody!
