IBQLTN2
DQ is Dairy Queen, franchise for icecream parlor and a blizzard is a thick shake with cookies, candies, etc. mixed in it. so thick you need a spoon cause it won't come up thru a straw at least at first. Quilting Heidi
Lyn, LOL DQ is Dairy Queen where they serve ice cream, yum! They have a ice cream blended with your favorite topping like snickers candy bars, Oreo's (cookie chocolate & cream), M&M's or whatever else suites your fancy. They are delicious! I think since I'm trying to loose weight right now it is fantastic that I don't have a DQ near me!!!! We are in for a big storm starting at midnight. We may get up to a foot of snow! I'm ready for spring!
Busy Quilting
I found the original Blizzard post in October 2007. So I could say your Dairy Queen is similar to Australia's Cold Rock Ice Creamery, where my Christmas eve treat was Christmas Pudding flavoured icecream, with Macadamia flavour too and them Crushed Peanut Brittle mashed through it. Yummy another reason to go back, just so I can lick the spoon clean and use for quilting. Lyn
Bonnie
Lyn....Even to confuse you more....DQ (Dairy Queen) has a thick thick milk shake filled with candies and such (what Heidi was talking about just above) and they call it a "Blizzard". How is that to really confuse you.
