SandraG
The owner of this quilt would like "semi-custom." She would like some meandering leaves and such in the center. The picture does not really do this quilt justice. It is quite beautiful. I love the plaid. Hardly any of my customers use plaids or stripes. This is a really special customer so I want to do something nice. Thanks, Sandra
witha'K'quilting
What a beauty. I really like this plaid top. How about a swirly panto in the center of the quilt...line dancing in the black setting traingles...stripe border something swirly to match the interior of the quilt?? Can't wait to see this one finished. This will be a fun one to quilt.
kennan100
Well, you have the center covered...what about an interesting treatment in the border? You could do piano keys but start them in the dark setting triangles skip that light border and continue the keys to the edge. Then go back to the light border and do SID on both sides and 1 or 2 lines all the way around in the center of that? It wound make it look like the keys were there and the light border is laying ontop of them. Like the keys duck under the light border. Clear as mud? Quilting Heidi
Sandra I have no idea what to tell you to do. Does she like flowers? Maybe a flower in the blocks and leaf meander and then do a pretty swirly treatment in the border. On the black triangles I would do 1/2" echo to really enhance those and frame it out. Good luck.
