jmcclannan
Oooooh, I remember that quilt. It is gorgeouso. But about the recipe idea!?!? I'm not sure America is ready for pigeon pitas. My question is - Does it taste like chicken?

ffq-lar
Advisory--squeamish please pass by! I was invited to lunch by a friend whose hubby has racing pigeons. We had "squab" slow-baked with wild rice and asparagus. Yummo! Yep--we were eating the "slow ones"!!:P:P

sewlinzi
My pigeon breasts were so dark and rich they were almost like liver but nicer! - and what is squab?! It sounds like a critter from "Lonesome Dove" or "Cold Mountain"...
AbigailE
Squab is polite for pigeon.
sewlinzi
Oh right, posh pigeon like nouvelle cuisine;) Right, enough of the recipes for food. I have a quilt recipe to produce for other people to understand not just fudge this and tweak that. I will try to draft it out and see if the clever quilters here as well as the instructionally challenged ones like me can follow my directions!
