imquilting
I am wondering if casters can be put on a 14 foot table. I have a Millie! She would be nice to move once in a while, when not in use. I am also curious about the Edgeriders. Do they make it smoother? Thanks to any help you can provide! Stagecl
I don't know about casters on a Millie (I have a Freedom SR with no casters) but I did own a Gammill at one time and it had casters. Edgeriders are suppose to make it smoother. I have them and will be installing them as soon as I finish the quilt I am working on.
ffq-lar
Casters work fine on a 14' table. Remember after installing to lower the table to your favorite height--the casters will add a few inches. Instructions for adjusting the legs are in your manual. Edgeriders are on my wish-list as soon as we get the taxes done!
Gretchen
I have some furniture sliders under the legs of my table. I need to exert a bit of force to get it to begin moving but move it does and easier than casters. I got my sliders at Lowes.
quiltlover03
What is the difference between the wheels I have now on my 2007 Table & Freedom and the Edgerider wheels? I thought that is what we are using on the newer systems?
QuiltFaerie
When I assembled my Millie, I did put casters under the four corners. I wanted to be able to move it without having disassemble it or get help, should the need arise. I bought the casters at Lowe's. I think they are actually piano movers. Triangle shaped with three wheels each. Not that expensive either.
