sspingler
Just an idea but I just did a dresden plate that I put 11 1/2" borders on. You can see it on my blog. www.desertthreads.blogspot.com/
Quilting Heidi
Sharon I love that border treatment! Ied with a border that size you have lots and lots of options. You could repeat a design element from the blocks, break the border up into different sections or do a beautiful feather border. You could even do a panto border on that! Bekah
Sharon, I agree with Heidi, that is a great border treatment. Ied, You could also cross-hatch it
SherryRogers
I normally don't suggest my own books but maybe I should start! Formal Feathers 101 has gobs of ideas at the back of the book. If you already own my book, check them out. If you don't have it yet, you should get it!!
ckeindl
Sharon: Beautiful quilts! Do you know the name/manufacturer of the panto (you call tulip) on the pink and white quilt? Thanks
sspingler
Sorry I haven't been able to find it. I purchased several pantos from a ladies estate and I lost almost all my pantos when my studio flooded. I was able to save enough of some of them that I was able to make copies. I didn't think to write down the name and designer. I looked on every site that sells pantos but couldn't find that one so it may be out of print.
