Zora
We will be going to Omaha the first weekend in October. I want to visit at least one quilt shop while there. I am familiar with Omaha and the surrounding communities, since we lived there for many years. Does anyone have any recommendations for the "best" shop in the area? jmcclannan
My very favorite is Seams to Be in Plattsmouth, but if you want to stay in Omaha you can always visit Country Sampler. There is also the Quilted Moose in Gretna.

LeeAnn
O yes! Threads is going to be in Grand Island Oct 2-3. They will have 35 vendors to shop at and many quilts to look at. Be sure to stop in if you are in the area! Here is a link to the info: http://nsqg.org/threadsacrossne.html
Zora
Thanks ladies. I wish we had more time, but it is a short trip this time. We have cats that are going to be cranky being left at home, and a little dog that will be staying at "camp" for four nights. She was a shelter dog that was neglected and maybe abused, and I am worried for her during our first separation in the year we have had her. I will certainly make it to Country Sampler, and probably the shop in Plattsmouth. We will be staying in the Old Market area, and have a list of other places to visit "for old time's sake" in addition to attending my husband's reunion. I appreciate the recommendations.
