jakrnsewing
Hello I have a new Milli that I setup with the help of my friend and my husband. Everything seems fine but when I try to feathers or delicate things the machine is not moving right and it feels like it is "loose" what adjustment needs to be made??? Thanks Jackie
nora123
Hi Jackie, first it will take some PPPing to get good at using your machine. Also if you machine seems to loosey goosey you can refer to your manual to the section about your wheels. I like my machine loose but my firend Linda likes hers tighter. It will be a personal choice. You should have the two wrenches you used to put your machine together. I hope this helps, if not I am sure more LAers will chime in soon. witha'K'quilting
Is the frame completely level front to back in all areas of the frame? Lots of times in the center truss...it is either to high or too low. Make certain that everything is level. This can cause the machine to feel loose or tight in certain sections of the frame. If everything is level, then simply adjust your wheels to be tighter...the cams are closer to the rails, or looser...the cams are farther from the rails. Hope this helps. I have been wondering about you lately. If you need help, feel free to call me. I will u2u my phone number.
quiltmonkey
Like Nora said, the four cams on the carriages (two on each carriage) need to be adjusted. The manual has really great photos and instructions on how to adjust.
