Calicoquilter Posted November 13, 2009 Report Share Posted November 13, 2009 Mary Beth, I refer to our GPS unit as "that b*#tch" because the female voice on it can be very insistant for you to "Turn left NOW" etc. I find her annoying and I would rather use a map. Now, today, it's my son's birthday. So, I can make my Garmin's voice to a mans voice? OK, that will happen a.s.a.p. as I too can't stand the whiney pita that's on there now! Dont know what makes me think that a mans voice will be any different. Might turn out to be like real life. Want to grab a remote control to turn up the volume to cover his, or....maybe could just "tune him out" like us women can do with any other noise we want to, in this world!!!!! LOL! Mary Beth Posted November 13, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 13, 2009 Sherry, When you change the voice, make sure you change it to one that has (TTS) next to the title.
