doodlebug Posted February 15, 2010 Report Share Posted February 15, 2010 what about choosing a music theme print and everyone has to pick their favorite song and make a quilt that incorporates the title of the song and everyone has to use a visible piece of the music print in their quilt top...i'd set a size limit to it..... or or same idea, but pick your favorite 'cliche' saying....ie 'a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush' 'being in a pickle' etc... does that help? Shannon if you do what you were suggesting would you have to ,say, make the saying on fabric (with pen or computer)? We have alot of ladies that would not be able to do that. Please clarify I am new to this. no writing whats so ever on the quilt...like with the bird in the hand one- the quilt would be a personholding a bird standing next to a bush with two birds in it....so you would take the saying and pictorial'll it.... clear as mud....
