djohns
I am a newbie and don't know a lot about MQS, can you fill me in? I would love to go sometime. Thanks, Denise
Mary Beth
You can read about it at www.imqa.org MQS is Machine Quilters Showcase. A quilt show that includes classes, vendors, etc, mostly for longarm quilters, however in the last year they have added mid arm and domestic machine quilters. This show is held in Overland Park, Kansas. There are 3 quilt shows like this one across the county, MQX - held this year in Rhode Island. Innovations in Washington, and MQS in Overland Park. The classes are taught by some of the greatest longarm quilters in the industry. The vendor mall is like a candy store for any quilter. We are all on a natural high when we attend any one of these shows.
Guest Linda S
MQX now also has a west coast show - Portland, Oregon, Ocober 2011. More shows = more fun!
