Loopy points on bottom

Okay...here is the problem. After two rows of perfect stitches my machine started making a "funny sound." Stopped quilting and moved the head to the side. took out the bobbin. Cleaned the bobbin case. Used some that spray stuff (WB40?), ran the machine till the noise stopeed. (Did find a corsage pin stuck in the needle plate). Started quilting again. Tensions issues now. Thread breaking. Top too loose. Lot's of loopys on the bottom. Changed the needle. Tightened the top tension. Now its better, but still getting loopys on the bottom and after awhile the top is loose and the bottom thread breaks.

I am using King Tut in the top and bottom line in the bobbin. It is also a heavy fabric--Amy Butler Home Dec. But when I started it was perfect! Any thoughts?

After the WD40 did you re-oil the bobbin area?

Check the bobbin case for a bit of lint under the finger.

Tut requires the top to be loose on the frame. Tighten the roller, then back off a bit. That will help with the bottom loops.

Did you wipe it out well after the WD-40 and re oil well, run it wipe it out again and put one drop on the hook and test it again. do check for lint in the bobbin finger as Linda said.

It got worse before it got better but it is fixed! Barb reminded me to check my threading. At one point it must have come off one hook. Then it was REALLY bad. Thanks for all the suggestions.
