Neher-in-law5
This is a wedding quilt for my nephew and his wife. I want to deliver it to them in two weeks at the family reunion. I will be quilting this on George, so it will be layered and pinned. Do you have any ideas for quilting designs in the blue sections, and another one in the baskeweave fabric and flower squares? The blocks are 12 inch but I would be quilting across the block lines and using the fabrics as my separation features. It is about 95 inches square. The flower square centers are 4 inches. The other fabrics are 2 inch strips.

BethDurand
I like what you did. Difficult to see on my computer, but that's very much what I was thinking of for the blue sections. Lucky kids to get this for a wedding gift!

alnaquilts
The feathers are a great idea--they really add to the quilt! Make sure you show us the finished product!
Quilting Heidi
Feathers are definitely what I would have done in the blue area. In the tan area I think you could do just about anything. You could echo the design, fill with McTavishing or even 1/4" lines in straight lines in each section going around...hope that makes sense.
