Boni
This is my first attempt. I could point out the wonky inner quilt and the OH SO WONKY lines in the outer borders, but I won't. You can see for yourself it's not perfect like it's supposed to be. I haven't done a lot of paper piecing, but this promises to be fast and easy--after the first one. Book: Miniatures in Minutes, Terrie Sandelin, C&T Publishing. www.terriesandelin.com The whole thing measures Eleven (11) inches square. It's on page 38 of the book and it's called Medallion. I'm posting this in "Quilt Pictures, Patterns & Inspiration" so you all can be inspired to try this. If I can do it, YOU can do it.

Boni
Thanks Ardelle and Linzi, Linzi, I love your blog and pictures. I wish you luck in getting your yurt to America. I hope I get a chance to see it. It is very inspirational. Makes me want to "wallpaper" my home with quilt panels.

cblevins
That is so cute but isn't it VERY DIFFICULT working with such tiny pieces?
Boni
It helps to have young nimble fingers, which I don't have, but the method is very forgiving. The template is about 1.5 x 1.25 inches and so far, that's the smallest one. The method to put on the borders is not new; I just never did it that way before. If you go to her website, you can view a pdf document. It's listed under misc. Adding narrow borders http://www.terriesandelin.com/files/Sandelin_one_eighth_inch_border_technique.pdf
