ginnylane
Our local quilt shop has teamed up with Conkerr Cancer to make pillowcases for children with incurable diseases. Does any one have any childrens fabric they would like to donate, or sell cheaply to help with this cause? Thanks for your help. they need 800 cases this month alone!! The kids will love it. When I make mine I added rick rack or something in the sausage seam. I have also just sewn some trim on top of this seam. Have fun! Bekah
Kristina you are such a good mom and your children surely reflect your heart. I will see if I can't find some cute material and make a couple. If you go to the website, make sure you have your hankies and kleenex

witha'K'quilting
my oldest daughter and i made 12 pillowcases this weekend! we had a great time. i took some pictures but need to take some of the finished product...they are still in the dryer...so need to press them first. with these 12 cases...i removed 12 yards of fabric from my stash! not a bad thing at all. mswings
What a great idea. Provide a service and get rid of stash!! My daughter and SIL came to visit this weekend. She is between trimesters at Palmer in Davenport. She thinks I'm a "hoarder" because of my stash!!!LOL She has no idea!;)
witha'K'quilting
i used to think i had a huge stash...not compared to many in this group. i still feel paralyzed at times by what i do have...but then...when i try to find certain colors...or lots of it...i realize i do not have a big stash at all! and i have been quilting for 10 years!
