Anne from Guam
Boy do I feel stupid. I moved my machine from one room to another, and everything was fine until I found this cord on the back right side that needed to plug into a phone--like outlet. I PLUGGED IT INTO THE WRONG OUTLET AND THE MACHINE WENT BANANAS. I found the right outlet underneath the carriage and plugged it in there but no luck. The machine lights work, but not the Up down option or the stitch regulator or the blue button to start stitching. I checked the fuse, it seems fine. Any ideas? Help! Dave-Jane
Most phone lines run on 50 Volts D.C. and I believe the machines internals are about 12 Volts D.C. I think you cooked some circuitry. Better e-mail Amy she's the greatest. I'm sure if there is a way to fix she'll be in the know!---Dave B. witha'K'quilting
try to switch the front and rear handles and see if it still doesn't work. maybe you just messed up the one handle and not the circuitry.
Anne from Guam
Thanks for your replies, I left a message for Amy and an email. I just hope I don't have to wait until Monday for a response. Excuse me while I go back and continue banging my head against the wall....
