I've been piecing with silk and it helps if you put a fusible tricot interfacing on the back before cutting it. That way it won't ravel. Sounds like you are having lots of fun experimenting. As much as I love the colors and quilting of the silk quilt, my heart belongs to the one with the fabulous curved crosshatching! You are always ready to try the next thing and this one is a stunner!
