qfairy Posted October 1, 2006 Report Share Posted October 1, 2006 Mark, I have noticed lately in my bobbin the thread sometimes gets behind that spring thingy, it causes my thread to snag and break. What causes this? It has happen more often lately and just switched bobbin cases. The thingy is pushed down and no ears sticky up to cause this. Mary Beth Posted September 29, 2007 Report Share Posted September 29, 2007 Hi Rusticjo, Maybe your top tension is too tight. Try to loosen the top tension and see if that helps. I would turn it about a quarter turn and try that and then see what happens, if that doesn't work, turn it again. It won't hurt to try it. What kind of thread are you using?
