She wants custom, which is great, but I'm having a problem deciding what to do in the outside border and sashing where she's used a border print. I thought about outlining some of the elements, but because the borders aren't mitered, I didn't think there'd be continuity there. Any ideas you have are welcome! I know it doesn't create a great corner movement, but if you are working in the printed shapes, then it should just enhance the border as she has made it. I'd forgotten about our discussion of piano key quilting, but now I remember that I sure did like that one. I guess my next step is to see what I have in stock for thread that will work with this one! But if anyone has any other thoughts on the quilting design, please don't hesitate to share.
