jebm
I have quilted one of these for the same customer who brought me another one. The first one is all SID. She wants something different--but not heavy. I am stumped. The only thing I can come up with is CC everywhere! Pretty dull? Welcome your ideas! LFQuilts
I'm no help here - but I think that cc'ing with some sparkly thread would look anything but dull on this quilt. Best wishes. Lynn
RitaR
I can see spirals or clam shells in the center with the 4 circles, then cc line dance in the bordewr of squares on point and piano keys in the wedges of the outer border, or sid in the outer border. I'd prefer the spirals in the center box with the 4 circle designs. JMHO
Sheri Butler
Use squiggley lines that go up to the points of the New York Beauty spikes!! Meander stipple around those thin points. Ribbon Candy stitch the 2 small borders. Pebble stitch pebbles around those diamonds, in that thin border area around those squares in the border. Mimic the block diamond shape in the center of those New York Beauties, and pebble that same area there, like you would in the border. Cross Hatch the background Clear as mud? So wish I had one of those Wacum tablets.
JustSewSimple
One lady made TWO of these? TWO? I can not imagine how long it took! Good luck with the quilting!
Guest Linda S
That's really pretty. I did a Montana Cartwheel for my sister - let me see if I can find pics. Not the same quilt, but an idea for the spikes!
