suzanp
Home in France, and the weather is beautiful, ( rain and cold in Germany!!of course until we left on Sunday the sun was starting to come out) glad we were in class all day from Thursday to Sunday, we all had a great time and we certainly learned many a trick, The classes were just right and the other quilters were all really friendly, even though I am not current in German I understood most of everything and Claudia did translate for me. Her lunches were great and she even made her famous Quilters Soup!!! Wish you were there with us, but !!!!! even our evenings were filled with quilting pleasures!!! I will be posting pictures on a smile box on my blog, if not you can see the pictures on facebook!

quiltmonkey
I love Claudia. She is a wonderful, good, kind, fun, and giving person (and teacher). And, on top of that she creates some fantastic quilts! All of us are fortunate to have Claudia in our world. She is a bright spot. Suzan I enjoyed your photos from Krefeld and also your video presentation. Did you take the train or fly?
Paulette
Thanks for posting the pictures on Facebook, Suzan! I saw them, as Claudia was tagged. Claudia is a wonderful teacher! I wish I had started LA quilting while I lived close to her. Doesn't she have a great shop?! Still so glad that she travels and teaches. I finally purchased my Millie after taking her classes last May near Chicago.
suzanp
Shana, I flew, it is just a little ways away, went from Montpellier to Lyon then to Dusseldorf, left home at 6:30 and arrived at 10 am. Philippe was waiting for me at the airport. Took the train to Krefeld, and then we went off to the shop and show room, We all had a great time, and I was able to use the Milli with Bliss, how wonderful......Claudia's quilts were in show in the shop, so lots of beautiful work to admire and dream about. I am a dreamer, so it was wonderful for me..... I came home so high (no I didn't smoke anything funny!) that it is going to be a big fall when I come down!!!! Well, next week is my time so lots of PPP, until then just dreaming.....
quiltmonkey
Suzan, so glad you had fun. And so good of Philippe to meet you to escort along to Krefeld As long as possible, try to stay on your high and continue your dreams and inspiration. PS: This past Saturday, I just installed (all by myself) my M&M wheels. The instructions were so easy to follow and I had no trouble at all. Who wrote the instructions? Must be Dawn or Amy---Great job girls!!! Thanks for the detailed instructions--- even a dummy like me can follow them. Makes life so much easier when instructions are clear with photos, etc. Yes, I agree with you -- the M&Ms are so Yummy!
