Primitive1
Help? I am working on a christmas quilt and am thinking that the ribbon candy would look good in one of my thin borders...but in drawing it out - I can't seem to come up with how to go around the corner....anyone know? Or have any ideas? (Such a simple thing to stump me!)
Beachside Quilter
Vicki: I just did a Christmas quilt with ribbon candy; marked the corners using the bottom of an empty thread spool and just worked my way around to the next corner. Worked for me!
Primitive1
Perfect - thanks Vickie! Did you just freehand it or use a spool to mark all of the curves..?
doodlebug
i chalk the border's miter and ribbon candy all the way to the tip corner using the chalked line, then make a little one to turn the corner. then just RC down the chalked line back to the border seam. i think it look's like a foot.... Beachside Quilter
Hey Vicki: Doodlebug's drawing is better; use that one! I just used a small spool and marked dashes all around but I like her idea to mark the miter in the corner. I'm stealing this one!! Thanks, Shannon!
