Quilting Heidi
If it has dimples put the dimples up. I haven't used that batting either.
Boni
I have some that definitely has a "clean" side, and a "dirty" (little flecks of fiber) side. I put the "clean" side against the lighter fabric, front or back. The dimples are from the needle punch process which indicates that's the side that your needle will punch through naturally--or so I've been told. Does it really matter in the end? I've never looked at a finished quilt and said, "Oooo that batting is backwards, tsk, tsk."
