chrisquilter
Can someone address this question please. Can you use the stylus that we have on the back of your Apqs machines (Millie) to use the circlelord giant templates, or do we need to purchase the stylus on the circlelord site? Thanks guys! circlelord
Chris, You can use the QZ stylus but it will be loose in the groove. You can get a CL stylus made for the QZ for a small charge. The Circlelord Back stylus cost $49.00 and has the advantage that you can lift, turn and hold above the template while not using it. Or, you can just take it out and store it where you can remember where you put it.
Beachside Quilter
Chris: I have 3 different brands of stylus; I prefer my CL stylus over ALL the others! Wish I had bought it first. I love that it simply turns and lifts to reposition to the next row or groove. No unscrewing or adjustments needed.
TAQuilts
I read this on another forum, in a pinch or to safe money a 09 knitting needle cut off works perfectly in the grooves of the CL boards. Terry

Pat Kuhlman
I have two different stylus on my machine one on each side and have used both on the on some of my boards and they both worked the same, the C L I thought could have went in a little farther( it came out of the grooves sometimes )
circlelord
Pat, I didn't sell you your CL Stylus and I haven't heard from you. You Stylus should almost touch the table at the lowest dip point in the table ( between the supports). If it doesn't you can adjust the bracket down using the slot. If yours doesn't have the slot, just the hole (earlier models) then write me. In the meantime, just unscrew the knob a few turns and the stylus will go down a bit. If you have big dips in the table, the stylus may come out if you are moving fast. It cannot drop fast enough. Hope this helps.
Pat Kuhlman
Thanks Michael I bought it awhile back and it was on the Babtist fan that it wouldn't stay in,I will try the all you have said, it's not a big problem, just making a point that my other stylus works also. But I will check it out today and see which stylus I have, slot or not. Thank you Par
