mountainquilter
It is still very difficult to get information but here is what I have learned about our friends. This isn't official but their home is still standing. The home on the left burned to the ground as well as the one on the left. Those in charge are still not letting anyone into the area. One major highway 24 is still closed in both directions so anyone going west to the mountains or those trying to go east have a hour and half at least detour. It is so sad and they still need our prayers. The have found that there is 2 fatalities in the fire. They had evacuated 32,000 people from their homes when it started. There are over 350 homes burned to the ground. I am sure there are many quilters affected. If anyone is interested in the news you can go to thedenverchannel.com or 9news.com Thanks for the prayers. NanaFuller
I wish there was a way to donate to rebuild sewing rooms and stash. Can we get with the local quilt guild? I will find out....
