Della
Hi all...taking a break here...lol Today I am doing one of two things.....being really creative (number one) or being really goofy (number two). I am trying to create the illusion of sea weed and water on a customers quilt. Yes, I know....goofy. I am about half way done.....picture coming soon! lol
nanbrug
Sometimes you have to step outside the box of traditional quilting and have fun. Can't wait to see pics.

lnieland
I'm looking forward to seeing it - I did something similar once, and wasn't thrilled with it, so I hope I can learn from you!

lottadogs
I'm anxious to see pics as well. I just finished a sea turtle quilt (my original design) a couple weeks ago for a magazine and although quilting seaweed really appealed to me, my sketches on paper just looked like random weirdness. Depends how much (prime quilting) space you have, I suppose, and I think it's key to use a variety of seaweed shapes.
