Judi Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 That's great Ferret! I really like what you did with that project - very nice!
Ferret Posted January 31, 2007 Author Report Posted January 31, 2007 Thanks Judi, I am on cloud nine. I really should go to bed but I can't calm down yet Ferret
quiltmonkey Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Ferret, Congratulations! Just to clarify (because you have so many lovely quilts), which quilt was accepted to the Chicago show? Is it the "In Full Bloom" quilt with the little foot bridge? I wish I was going so I could see it in 3-D. Shana
Ferret Posted January 31, 2007 Author Report Posted January 31, 2007 Yes it is In Full Bloom, the quilt this thread is about. I thought I would be clever and reuse the same thread I can't believe I am even frugal about creating new threads. I must be mad. Ferret
Patch Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Alright, I'm feeling jealous. Where are the picture of the quilt?? I think your feet look very cozy in those great socks you must have knitted, and all those other yarn things are very inspiring, but they don't look like the quilt everyone's raving about above. So what do I do to see the Monet quilt?
Ferret Posted January 31, 2007 Author Report Posted January 31, 2007 Scroll right down to the bottom of the page and you will find it. The socks are very cozy, it's true Ferret
Judi Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 o.k. had to go and see the socks! They do look comfy.... but I see photos of 2 left feet - not a very good dancer? lol!!
Patch Posted February 1, 2007 Report Posted February 1, 2007 Yay! I see it now, didn't go ALL the way down to the bottom. Fantasmible quilt, Feret!! You rock! (in my daughter' 16yo friends' terminology). Are all those little squares stitched around each edge? How in the world do you do that? That is soooooo cool! Thank for sharing, and keep up the very artsy work.
