Susanri
I have a quilt with lots of one inch to two inch borders, I would love some ideas? For what ever reason Borders always trip me up. Pictures would be great;-)
CindyT
I don't have pictures, but shouldn't need them for what I'm about to suggest...strings of pearls/pebbles, wavy lines, or zig zag comes to mind. Zig zag could go from seam to seam and cross each other to do sort of like a simple cross hatching. I'm sure others have different ideas.
Sandra Darlington
Could two (or more) borders be quilted as one? That would cut your number in half to figure designs for and then quilt.

meg_marsh
Combine, combine - there is no need to treat multiple narrow borders individually and they often look better when combined and treated as one, 2 or 3 - not 4, 5 or 6. Determine the best color block for quilting and go from there - 5 narrow borders might equal 2 smaller borders or maybe 2 equal on either side of a narrow border. If you look at Linda's sample picture above - this could be extended to have the curl on either side of the piano keys - just reverse so that the 2 borders mirror each other. The choices are endless but remember your time and your costs should determine what you do in the end. Sorry - no pictures ........
quiltinchicks
How about loops, circles, the l & e pattern, ribbon candy, rope, egg & dart........or that one that looks almost like a cursive L but straighter across ....that probably makes no sense.
