gailpeters
My 2006 Milli keeps running. Pushing the red buttons either front or back does not stop the machine. I am in stitch regulated. It just keeps running even when I am not moving the machine. Any ideas. I have to turn the machine off to get it to stop. Then most of the time it is okay then until I again try to stop. It is not consistant though. Sometimes it behaves quite well. Could this be related to that screw that adjusts the needle up or needle down? Quilting Heidi
Sounds like you need to adjust the #8 screw. You can find the info in your manual. I have to adjust mine probably twice a year.
witha'K'quilting
Hitting any button should stop the machine from being in stitch regulated mode. If you are hitting the red button on the right handle along with the black control button, then all you are doing is shortening the stitch length, but the machine will still stitch. witha'K'quilting
Try putting a little pressure against the flywheel when it is doing this. Does the machine stop stitching? If so, then adjust the #8 screw.
gailpeters
Thanks, I am going back to my sewing room and will give the # 8 screw a try. As I was typing this I kind of wondered if that could be my problem.
dlnewell
If the buttons aren't working to stop it, it could be a wiring issue. My model is a late 2008 and I have 4 buttons on each handle. I'd call apqs.
gailpeters
Ya!! Adjusting the #8 screw did the trick. I should have tried that before I asked for help. However this forum is so darn helpful that is the first thing I thought to do. I did all of it myself, except for 2 screws that I had to have hubby get loose. I think he helped me last time and really tightened the screws down. Except for that I did it myself and next time I should be able to get all the screws loose. Thanks for the help.
